CHALLENGE /

The combination of a nice plot of land in Wadi Hanifah with lush greenery and uninterrupted views, and a client's appreciation of Asian tropical architecture set the basis for the design style of this cozy private residence in Riyadh.

 

CONCEPT /

The villa is conceived to be in harmony with the environment it sits in: a generous plot of land which is part of a large family farm overlooking the Wadi and surrounded by rich plantation mainly composed of palm trees that suggest a natural tropical setting.

The materials used are carefully selected in that regards: brick and stone for the foundations and walls, ijuk for the thatched roofs and teak wood for the columns and ornaments.
