CHALLENGE /

The Technology & Innovation Hub is a pioneering initiative by the Saudi Ministry Of Housing. The aim of this innovative and interactive platform is to showcase and introduce the Saudi market to modern and futuristic building technologies, as well as to promote the Ministry's services and initiatives to facilitate efforts to meet the increasing housing demands.

CONCEPT /

Drawn by the brutalist nature of the Ministry Of Housing's logo evoking sturdiness and stability, the modular steel stripes curve in two directions creating and linking the hub's two entrances and giving a contrasting lightness to the structure.

In line with the Ministry's mission to introduce the Saudi market to new building technologies and innovation, the design draws upon the use of cutting edge yet simple materials and construction techniques.

The design follows a defined grid, forming an open-ended loop that allows for the phasing of the project, as well as its future expansion. The loop also gives a clear direction for the user who can enjoy an experience promenade or go off-course at several instances.
