CHALLENGE /

The project consists of four typical villas of 620 m² each and a larger villa of 1,290 m² area in the upcoming Bassateen residential district in Northern Jeddah. In the lack of views and surrounding sceneries, the design focuses on the introvert aspect of each of the units.

 

CONCEPT /

The interaction of the spaces vis-à-vis each others revolves around the landscaped area at the back of the villas, which is characterized by a soothing water feature comprising a reflective pool, a lap swimming pool and a glass waterfall coming all the way down from the attic floor. A light steel staircase links the external part of the living and dining space on the ground floor with the terrace on the first floor, it being an external extension of the family living room upstairs.
